I made this cute Easter card with my Stampin' Up! For Peeps' Sake stamp set. It's one of my favorite Easter sets because the sayings are funny and images are adorable. I really like how this turned out. The colors look great together (very springlike), the chick's adorable and you've just gotta love that patterned paper LOL! Here's how to make it:
First cut a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of purple card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of yellow for the first layer, a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of pink for the second layer, a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of patterned paper for the front, 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" piece of purple for the sentiment first layer, a 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" piece of yellow for the sentiment second layer, 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of pink for the sentiment third layer and a 2" x 2 3/4" piece of white for the sentiment.
Next using a Stamp a ma jig stamp the sentiment on the white card stock in Stampin' Up! Wisteria Wonder ink the attach it to the pink layer, then the yellow, then the purple, then to the front of the card. Then cut the doily for the chick out of white card stock with a Spellbinders Doily Motif die, stamp the chick in Stampin' Up! Daffodil Delight ink attach it to the card front with a mini pop dot, finish assembling the card and enjoy!
