I made this gorgeous card using my Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree stamp set with the Pearl Ex heated pearls technique. I love how this turned out. The colors are amazing together, I love the texture and it just screams fall LOL! Here's how to make it:
First cut a 7 1/4" x 10 1/2" piece of burgundy card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 5 1/8" x 7 1/8" piece of brown for the first layer, a 4 7/8" x 7" piece of tan for the second layer, a 4 3/4" x 6 7/8" piece of burgundy for the front layer, a 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" piece of burgundy for the image first layer, a 2 5/8" x 4 5/8" piece of brown for the image middle layer and a 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of tan for the image.
Then create the heated pearls background click here for an awesome tutorial. First squeeze a good amount of white school glue in the center of the burgundy card stock. Then spread the glue all over the card stock with a stipple brush. Next drop small amounts of Pearl Ex on the glue-covered card stock. Repeat with additional colors. I used Brilliant Gold, Super Russet, and Sunset Gold. Then stipple until the Pearl Ex is evenly distributed on the card stock. When you're finished put the stipple brush in water or rinse it immediately to prevent the glue from drying in the bristles. Next heat the glue mixture with a heat tool. Bubbles will form and the background will be finished when bubbling stops. Then finish your card.
Next using a blender pen and the following Stampin' Up! ink pads: Chocolate Chip, Tangelo Twist, Crushed Curry, and Cherry Cobbler randomly color the tree stamp. Don't forget to huff on the stamp when you're finished coloring it to revive the ink then stamp it on the 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of tan card stock. Then highlight the trees with Gold Stickles glitter glue and allow to dry. When dry attach trees to the brown middle layer, then to the burgundy layer, then to the front layer. Next attach the burgundy ribbon on the back of both sides of the front layer then create the bow with a mini bowdabra. Then attach the bow and button with hot glue, attach the front layer to the tan layer, then to the brown layer then to the base and enjoy!
