Sheltering Tree Valentine

I made this cute card with my Stampin' Up! Sheltering Tree stamp set. It's one of my favs because it's so versatile and easy to use. I love how this turned out so much that I made two more one in pink and the other in purple. I'll include pics after the instructions. Speaking of which here's how to make it:

First cut a 6 1/4" x 9 1/2" piece of black card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 2 1/4" x 5 7/8" piece of white for the strip's background, a 2 1/8" x 5 3/4" piece of red for the strip, a 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" piece of red  for the tree's first layer, a 3 5/8" x 4 1/8" piece of black for the tree's middle layer, and a 3 1/2" x 4" piece of white for the tree. 

Then dry emboss the red strip with a Stampin' Up! Large Polka Dots embossing folder, attach it to it's white background then to the base. Next stamp the grass in Stampin' Up! Garden Green ink, then the tree and swing in Stazon Jet Black, and the flowers in Real Red. Then punch out the hearts with a small punch, glue them on the flowers and attach the self-adhesive pearls. Next attach the tree to the black middle layer then the middle layer to the red layer, tie the ribbon around all three layers then attach the red layer to the base. Then cut out the larger heart with a Hearts a Flutter Frameliits die, sponge the edges and stamp the sentiment with Real Red ink and a stamp from a Stampin' Up! Kindness Shared set, attach it to the base with mini pop dots and enjoy!
