I made this gorgeous card with my Stampin' Up! Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and matching Framelits dies. I love love love this set!!!! It's awesome for several types of ornaments, cards, and many other items. I really like how this turned out. It's so elegant! Here's how to make it:
First cut a 5 3/4" x 9" piece of dark blue card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Stampin' Up! Metallic Silver for the front layer, a 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" piece of dark blue for the snowflake background, a 3" x 3" piece of white for the snowflakes, a 1" x 4 1/4" piece of dark blue for the sentiment background and a 7/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Metallic Silver for the sentiment.
Next dry emboss the front layer with a Stampin' Up! Petals A Plenty embossing folder and set it aside. Then randomly stamp snowflakes on the white card stock with Recollections Clear Snowflakes stamps in Stampin' Up! Night of Navy ink then add Versamark ink directly to the card stock. Sprinkle with Stampin' Up! Heat and Stick Powder, melt it with a heat tool then sprinkle with Stampin' Up! Diamond Dust Glitter and go over again with heat tool. Next attach the snowflake card stock to the 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" piece of dark blue card stock and set it aside. Then heat emboss the ornament on dark blue card stock with Versamark ink and Ranger Silver Tinsel embossing powder. Next cut out the ornament with an Ornament Keepsakes Framelits die and set it aside. Then stamp the sentiment on the small piece of Metallic Silver card stock with a stamp from a Stampin' Up! More Merry Messages set in Night of Navy ink, attach it to the small piece of dark blue card stock and set it aside. Next punch out the snowflakes with a snowflake punch and heat emboss them with Versamark ink and the Silver Tinsel embossing powder. Then make the bow with a mini bowdabra attach it and a self-adhesive rhinestone with hot glue, finish assembling the card and enjoy!
