A Rose is a Rose Thank You Card

I made this pretty card with my Stampin' Up A Rose is a Rose stamp set. It's a two step stampin set so it's fun to use and I love the effect. I really like how this turned out. The colors look awesome together and I love the design. Here's how to make it:

First cut a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Stampin' Up! Pretty in Pink card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of light blue for the middle layer, and a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of white for the front layer.

Next cut and emboss a beaded oval out of Pretty in Pink card stock with a Spellbinders Beaded Ovals die then cut a large oval out of light blue card stock and a smaller one out of white with a Spellbinders Classic Ovals. Then dry emboss the first layer with a Cuttlebug Textile embossing folder and the blue oval with a Stampin' Up! Honeycomb embossing folder. Attach the blue oval to the pink one, the pink one to the front layer and the front layer to the middle layer. Next using a Stamp a ma jig, stamp two roses on white card stock first in Pretty in Pink ink then in Positively Pink. Then stamp four leaves on white card stock first in Stampin' Up! Old Olive ink, then in Stampin' Up! Always Artichoke. Next stamp three small flowers in Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue ink then tie the ribbon around the front and middle layers. Next cut out all the flowers and leaves and attach them to the front layer with mini pop dots. Next sponge the smaller oval's edges and stamp the sentiment with Positively Pink ink and a stamp from a Stampin' Up! Bloomin' Marvelous set then attach it to the front layer with mini pop dots. Then cut the butterflies out of Pretty in Pink and light blue card stocks with a Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit and attach them to the front with mini pop dots. Next attach the self-adhesive pearls, attach the middle layer to the base and enjoy!
