I made this gorgeous card with my Stampin' Up! Abundant Hope stamp set. I love this set, the flowers are so realistic! I really like how this turned out. The colors look great together and the rolled rose is pretty cool too! Here's how to make it:
First cut a 5 1/2" x 9" piece of turquoise card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of pink for the front layer, a 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" piece of white for the strip's background, a 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Stampin' Up! Twitterpated Designer Series Paper for the strip, a 2 3/4" x 4" piece of turquoise for the image background and a 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" piece of white for the image.
Next stamp the background on the first layer with a Stampin' Up! Soft Swirls Background stamp in Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue ink. Then cut the long edge of the strip's background with a Stampin' Up! Finishing Touches Edgelit die, attach the strip of Designer paper to the background then to the front layer. Next lightly sponge the image's layer with Bashful Blue ink, sponge the image over the blue sponged ink with Memories black ink and watercolor it with an aqua painter and Stampin' Up! Pretty in Pink and Gumball Green inks. Then attach it to it's background then to the front layer. Next cut out the flower with a Cricut Flower Shop cartridge, sponge it's edge with Bashful Blue ink then roll it into a flower and attach it to the front layer. Then just attach the front layer to the base and enjoy!
